My brothers and sisters, inshallah ta'ala I wanted to give this lecture, this reminder inshallah ta'ala related to a topic or a thought that actually came to my mind. SubhanAllah as you all know what we're witnessing around us on a global scale as well is subhanAllah this concept of the mix of what is true from what is false. We're living at a time when what is real and what is fake we're made to believe what is real is fake and what is fake is real.

And it's confusion and by the way this is something Nabiullah Muhammad a.s. prophesized told us already there's going to come a time when the truth is made to look like falsehood and the falsehood made to look like the truth. That's something the Prophet told us a.s. and this word Al-Haqq the truth by the way is Khilafu Al-Baatil as Sahib Al-Sihah says. The word Al-Haqq is the opposite to Baatil falsehood and the word Al-Haqq is one is a singular word and the plural is Huqooq.

This word Al-Haqq it comes in the Quran in many different meanings and this is a side benefit sometimes the word Al-Haqq means in the Quran Allah a.s. himself. As Allah a.s. says in Surah Al-Mu'minoon. So Allah s.a.w. says.

And also the word Al-Haqq comes as the Quran. The word Al-Haqq comes as the Quran. As Allah a.s. says.

In Surah Al-An'am. So what does it mean? Also the word Al-Haqq it means Al-Islam. The religion of Al-Islam in its entirety.

As Allah a.s. says. So Allah a.s. means. So the word Al-Haqq here means Al-Islam.

It also means Al-Adl. Justice. As Allah a.s. says in Surah As-Sa'd.

Judge between us with justice. Also the word Al-Haqq sometimes means Al-Tawheed in the Quran. As Allah a.s. says in Surah Al-Mu'minoon.

Surah Al-Mu'minoon. Surah Al-Mu'minoon. I.e. the Prophet came to them with the truth.

Al-Tawheed. And the majority of them do not like the truth. They don't like Tawheed.

Also the word Al-Haqq sometimes means Al-Wujud. Obligation. As Allah a.s. says in Surah Al-Ghafir.

It means what? I.e. Wajabat. It has become mandate and it's been prescribed onto them. As Allah a.s. says in Surah Al-Ghafir.

Sometimes the word Al-Haqq means Al-Haja. Need. As Allah a.s. says in Surah Al-Hud.

Qalu laqad alimta ma lana fee banatika min haqq wa innaka lata'lamu ma nureed. Qalu laqad alimta. You know.

Ma lana fee banatika min haqq wa innaka lata'lamu ma nureed. I.e. Haja. You know that there is no need that we have.

I.e. regarding. Qalu laqad alimta ma lana fee banatika min haqq. It means haja.

We don't have any haja or need for your daughters. I.e. these women. The word Al-Haqq also means Al-Bayan.

To clarify something. As Allah a.s. says in Surah Al-Baqarah as well. Allah a.s. says subhanahu wa ta'ala.

Qalu al-ana ji'ta bil-haqqi fa dabahuha wa ma kadu yaf'aloon. A.e. bayanat lana. Now you have made clear to us the cow that we need to slaughter.

Qalu al-ana ji'ta bil-haqqi. Now you have come with clarity. A.e. bayanat lana.

You have clarified for us. Sometimes the word Al-Haqq means la ilaha illa Allah as well. As Allah a.s. says subhanahu wa ta'ala in Surah Al-Ra'd.

Lahu da'watul haqq wa allatheena yad'uuna min dooni la yastajeeboona lahum bishay'in illa ka basiti kaffayhi ilal ma'i liya balu ghafahu wa ma huwa bi balighi wa ma du'aul kafireena illa fee al-dalal. It means la ilaha illa Allah. So the word Al-Haqq, my brothers and sisters, has all of those different meanings.

If you want to look more into this issue, you can buy and read the book Nuzhatul a'yunil nawadhir. You can get that kitab and insha'Allah ta'ala and read it. It tells you the different meanings that words in the Quran come in.

Ibn Jarir al-Tabri's tafsir, you'll find a lot of it. Abu al-Abu Abdillah al-Qurtubi rahimahullah. You'll find it.

Hatta Ibn al-Jawzi, he also has another kitab called Zaid al-Maseer. You can find it in there where he points out rahimahullah ta'ala. But that was a side benefit.

What is it that I want to talk about insha'Allah ta'ala today? That term Al-Haqq, truth. There are factors, my brothers and sisters. There are things that prevent us from seeing the truth for it being the truth.

The Haqq is hidden from us. It's made for us not to understand the truth. We're living in a world of propaganda.

We're living in a world of fake news. Just say something and people believe it. And the person who's telling the truth will not be believed.

And subhanAllah this has played a role in people rejecting the truth. So I want to talk about, my brothers and sisters, factors that have caused us not to follow the truth. Because when I look at my brothers and sisters what's happening in the world, I'm thinking to myself some things are clear.

I'm sure all of you are thinking the same as well. Some things are just crystal clear. These things are the reality.

How can someone come and say this is not the truth? Those things can be religious matters. And it can also sometimes be reality in front of us. We can see a particular thing happening in front of our eyes.

Everyone can see it. But then each person or other people are saying different things regarding what we can see with our own two eyes. And we're turning away from that.

Or we're all coming out with different views regarding what's taking place in that particular situation. Why would that happen if it's an objective reality? So I want to, my brothers and sisters, shed some light on what causes human beings to not follow through with what is true. What is an objective reality? What is a fact? What prevents a human being not to follow through with it? The facts or the reasons are two.

There is Al-Asbaab Al-Kharijiya, which is what I'm going to talk about today. Some of them. Al-Asbaab Al-Kharijiya, external factors.

That's what the word Al-Asbaab Al-Kharijiya means. External factors. There are things from the out which are causing us not to really follow the truth.

My brothers and sisters, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala created the creation. This creation, what you see here, is all created by Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. That's number one.

I want you to all understand that. Also, Allah guided us. He placed inside us, subhanahu wa ta'ala, something known as the Fitrah.

We have this natural inclination. Allah placed it inside us, subhanahu wa ta'ala. As Allah says in the Quran, There is a natural disposition that Allah has placed within us, subhanahu wa ta'ala.

Every single one of us. Yes, there are things that come and tamper with it. There are things that come and they dilute it.

But Allah placed that, subhanahu wa ta'ala, in us. There is not a child that is born. There is no baby born.

Except that he is born upon the Fitrah. So point number one that I mentioned is Allah created the creation. That's one.

Two, Allah placed inside the creation a Fitrah. That's number two. Point number two.

I want you to understand this. And then on top of that, which is point number three, Allah clarified for the humans the path of khair, the path of good. Allah clarified it for us, subhanahu wa ta'ala.

And he also clarified for us the path of evil, subhanahu wa ta'ala. He clarified it for us, subhanahu wa ta'ala. If you look at Surah Al-Insan, it's actually the Surah of humans, Al-Insan.

Allah says, subhanahu wa ta'ala, Allah said, we guided them, subhanahu wa ta'ala, to the path. And the people are two types. One who shows gratitude.

One who shows gratitude to his Lord, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. And there is one who is Kafur, negligent towards his Lord. Does not show any gratitude to the blessings Allah has bestowed upon him, subhanahu wa ta'ala.

Al-Allama Abdur Rahman Nasir Al-Saudi, he says regarding that ayah in Surah Al-Insan, he says, Allah sent to the people messengers. And those prophets or those messengers, what was sent on them was books to guide them. Allah guided them to the path to reach Him, subhanahu wa ta'ala.

Now where Allah placed subhanahu wa ta'ala and engaged or put in these prophets as well is the desire to want to get to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. وَأَخْبَرَهُ Allah informed us subhanahu wa ta'ala بِمَا لَهُ عِنْدَى الْوَصُولِ إِلَيْهِ That if we reach Him subhanahu wa ta'ala in the way that we should, what is it that's waiting for us? If we do good, what is it that's waiting for us? If we go astray and we go against that path, the destruction that is waiting for us. Also Allah told us subhanahu wa ta'ala the path to destruction and He warned us against it.

He said don't take that path, don't follow that path. And if we tread that path and we don't listen, what is it that's waiting for us? The destruction that is waiting for us. Allah tested us subhanahu wa ta'ala then.

He tested us subhanahu wa ta'ala by putting on those paths things to see who is going to make it through. Also Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is saying in Surah Al-Balad What does it mean we guided them to Al-Najdayn? What does Al-Najdayn mean? It means بَرِقَيْلْخَيْرِ وَالشَّرْضِ So guide it either to the straight path and the right path or the wrong path. So this is the point I want to mention inshallah wa ta'ala as a muqaddimah which is Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala created the creation, number one.

Also Allah placed inside the human being a fitrah, you're inclined to the truth. You see my brothers and sisters when somebody embraces Islam, there you see them crying, weeping. It's because the fitrah has been awoken.

It's yearning for its Lord Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. That's the fitrah, that's point number two. Point number three is that Allah showed us the path subhanahu wa ta'ala by sending a messenger to us.

That messenger came with a book and that book is what we read after that prophet passes away and dies. So Allah did not leave us subhanahu wa ta'ala upon confusion and loss. But there are things that are going to prevent us from seeing that truth.

There are things and that's what I want to focus on today inshallah wa ta'ala. The first one is shaytan. Shaytan is the first to work, exert every effort subhanahu wa ta'ala.

Shaytan, he is the first to exert every effort possible to stop you from reaching that path of guidance. And this has been making me think so much subhanallah. All of the atrocities, the genocide, the killing, the murdering, the slander, the backbite, the rape.

All the crimes that we're seeing taking place on this earth. Imagine this. He's playing a role in it.

Iblis, shaytan. He is the one that is enjoying this. He's the one pushing for this.

So the first inshallah wa ta'ala is shaytan I want to talk about. And I'm going to focus on him in this episode bi inni laal kareem. In the upcoming episodes inshallah wa ta'ala I will speak about the other factors which affect us following and adhering to the truth when it comes to us.

My brothers and sisters, we hear this word a lot shaytan, shaytan, shaytan. What does the word shaytan actually mean? The scholars disputed one another. What is this word taken from? The word shaytan, where is it taken from? Some of the scholars said it comes from the word shatana.

Shatana is where it comes from. And they said it means ida ba'uda, when something becomes distant. The word shaytan comes from the word shatana.

Ida ba'uda, when something becomes very far from us. And they mentioned that the noun in shatana, the noun, they say is asliya. And they say, the Arabs, shatanat daruhu ida ba'uda.

Whenever his house is far, they say shatanat daruhu. His house is far, shatanat daruhu, meaning his house is very far. They also say wa bi'run shatun.

What do they mean by bi'run shatun? Bi'run shatun is the word shaytan comes from. It means that this well is very deep. So that's the first meaning of the word shaytan.

There's another view, another qawl of some of the scholars, which is that it comes from the word min shata yashito. So then based on that, it means ida halaka, when you're destroyed. And the noun, so if you say shata yashito, where's the noun then? They said that the noun in it, shaytan, they say is not asliya, it's not min binya til kalima, it's not the root, it's not part of the word.

It's zaida, it's additional, it was added in it. But the actual word is shata yashito. Whereas the first view, it was what? It's the word shatana, it comes from, and the noun is asliya.

The second view is that the noun is not asliya, that the noun in it is zaida. And it comes from the word shata yashito. Ida halaka, it means when something burns or gets destroyed.

So these are the two views in which it comes from. Ibn Atiyah, rahimahullah, he says, What comes towards this view is that Sibawayh mentioned, Sibawayh, rahimahullah, and Sibawayh is the sheikh of grammar, right? Abu Bishr, Amr ibn Uthman, ibn Qandar, al-Farisi, thumma al-Basri. He sought hadith at the beginning of his life and fiqh, and then he turned towards the Arabic language until he became the leader of the Arabic language of his time, and even after that.

He sought knowledge of the Arabic language from Isa ibn Umar, and Yunus ibn Habib, and Khalil ibn Hamad al-Farahidi. Those are his sheikhs that he studied from and learned from Sibawayh, rahimahullah. So Ibn Atiyah mentions, What comes towards this view is that Sibawayh mentioned, أَكَىَ أَنَّ الْعَرَبَ تَقُولُ The Arabs say, تَشَيْطَنَ فُلَانٌ إِذَا فَعَلَ أَفْعَالَ الشَّيَاطِينِ The Arabs say, تَشَيْطَنَ فُلَانٌ This person, تَشَيْطَنَ What does it mean تَشَيْطَنَ إِذَا فَعَلَ When he does, أَفْعَالَ الشَّيَاطِينِ This person is doing the actions of Shaytan.

So this is clear what? This is clear that the word تَشَيْطَنَ comes in the form of what? تَفَيْعَلَ And the word تَفَيْعَلَ comes from the word منشَطَنَ Which is the first view. And if it was from the word شَاطَ They would have said what? That's what it would have become. So the first view seems to be the strongest based on what Ibn Atiyah is saying.

And that's the view that Ibn Kathir also strengthened. He strengthens the opinion of that the word Shaytan comes from the word شَاطَنَ And not شَاطَ يَشِيطُ Okay? And he mentions that in his تفسير رحمه الله The word شَيْطَنَ came in the Qur'an in four forms. The word شَيْطَنَ has come in the Qur'an in four forms.

The first one is Those people who are leaders in Kufr Allah mentions it in سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى

In Surah Al-Baqarah Allah says Those who are leaders in Kufr The second meaning that the word شَيْطَنَ has been used in the Qur'an is Allah SWT used it as الكاهيم which is another view of the ayah that I just mentioned وَإِذَا خَلَوْا إِلَى شَيَاطِينِهِمْ That it's a fortune teller, الكاهيم Also the word شَيْطَنَ has been used for what?

The human that has transgressed and exceeded his limits and the jinn that has also exceeded his limits and that have gone astray and have refused to adhere to Allah SWT's commandments and his messenger, whether they be from the jinn or the ins Allah referred to them in surah Al-An'am He says Also the snake Allah SWT mentioned in surah As-Safat الحَيَّة As Allah SWT mentions طَلْعُهَا كَأَنَّهُ رُؤُوسُ الشَّيَاطِينَ So those are the usages in which we find its usage in the Quran My brothers and sisters This creation of Allah, Shaytan His animosity towards us is very early and it starts the time Allah created Adam AS and the animosity of Shaytan.

My brothers and sisters is بعيد الجذور It's deeply rooted It's deeply rooted for Shaytan and it is also deeply rooted for human beings that's how it should be يعني when Allah SWT He created the form of Adam AS and then Allah SWT the soul was blown into Adam AS What did Allah SWT command? Actually even before the soul was blown into Adam This is even before the sujood came The Prophet SAW he said When Allah created the form of Adam Allah left Adam's form as long as he wanted to leave it He looked at our creation He observed us He saw that we were empty from within When he realized that we were empty inside We had a stomach and all of that He realized that we are a creation that cannot hold itself We are a creation We need something We need to consume We need to take in This animosity.

The Quran has pointed out so many times Allah says in Surah Al-Baqarah يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ كُلُوا مِّمَّا فِي الْأَرْضِ حَلَالًا طَيِّبًا وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا خُطْوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ Allah says in Surah Al-Baqarah again يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ادْخُلُوا فِي السِّلْمِ كَافَةً أَلَمْ أَنْهَكُمَا عَنْ تِلْكُمَا الشَّجَرَةِ وَأَقُلْ لَكُمَا إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَكُمَا عَدُوٌ مُبِيءٌ سورة العراف الله تعالى صلى الله عليه وسلم سورة يوسف الله سيز قَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ لَا تَقْصُصْ رُؤْيَاكَ عَلَىٰ إِخْوَتِكَ فَيَكِيدُوا لَكَ كَيْدًا إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لِلْإِنْسَانِ عَدُوٌ مُبِيءٌ سورة الكهف الله سيز وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ سْجُدُوا لِآدَمَ فَسَجَدُوا إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ كَانَ مِنَ الْجِنِّ فَفَسَقَ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِ أَفَتَتْ تَخِذُونَهُ وَذُرِّيَّتَهُ أَوْلِيَأَ مِنْ دُونِي وَهُمْ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌ بِئْسَ لِلظَّالِمِينَ بَدَلًا سورة الطه الله سيز فَقُلْنَا يَا آدَمُ إِنَّ هَذَا عَدُوٌ لَكَ وَلِزَوْجِكِ فَلَا يُخْرِجَنَّكُمَا مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ فَتَشْقَى سورة القصص الله سيز فَوَكَزَهُ مُوسَى فَقَضَى عَلَيْهِ قَالَ هَذَا مِنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ عَدُوٌ مُبِلٌ مُبِينٌ الله أُوصَل سيزة سورة الفاطر إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌ فَاتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًا إِنَّمَا يَدْعُوا حِزْبَهُ لِيَكُونُوا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ السَّعِيرِ الله أُوصَل سيزة سورة ياسين أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَا بَنِي آدَمَ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌ مُبِينٌ سورة زُخْرُف الله سيزة سبحانه وتعالى

Brothers and sisters you will find that the word Allah is using here subhanahu wa ta'ala is that he is an enemy He is your enemy فَاتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًا Take him as an enemy Why are you bringing your enemy in? Why are you surrendering to your enemy? Why are you befriending your enemy? Why are you not studying and learning about your enemy? Wallahi my brothers and sisters the news that you are watching The things that are happening in the Muslim world today The killing, the massacres Wallahi what is taking place in the world The atrocities, the crimes, the sins that people are committing It's coming all from this man Or it's coming from this creation of Allah Shaytan He is the one pushing, propagating it, whispering We need to study him We need to come back and learn where all of this started from Do you not know my brothers and sisters it all started from Jannah We were in Jannah There was no crimes, there was no sins, there was nothing There was one creation who misguided our father It was one creation who whispered to our father Adam a.s. And caused him to flee Jannah My brothers we left Jannah and we were brought to this dunya as a punishment Are we going to be pleased with a place that we are punished in Are we going to take it as a place of residency and enjoy And not work for the place that we should have been in All of these verses

My brothers and sisters Clearly and categorically show us the animosity of Shaytan How much he hates us Allah actually mentions in Surah Al-An'am He says You keep seeing that word that keeps being used Don't follow the footsteps of Shaytan Shaytan doesn't want to do things all at once He wants to do it slowly Ibn Kathir one of the things that he mentions in his tafsir Regarding this ayah وَمِنَ الْأَنْعَامِ حَمُولَةً وَفَرْشًا قُلُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌ مُبِيءٌ Ibn Kathir said بَيِّنٌ ظَاهِرُ الْعَدَاوَةِ His animosity and hate for us my brothers and sisters is clear It's out there Even in Surah Al-A'raf Allah mentions O the children of Adam Do not let Shaytan be a fitna to you How so?

The way that he took your fathers Your father Adam from Jannah Allah Akbar Connecting us to that day That moment He took our father out of Jannah He was the cause for it He would have been in Jannah my brothers and sisters Ibn Kathir said Allah is warning us from Iblis And his troops and his followers And the people who work for him There are people who work for Shaytan and Iblis They worship him as Allah said in the verse that I read before in Surah Yasin Don't worship Shaytan There are people worshipping him The children of Adam It makes no sense For you to worship the one that took you out of Jannah Your enemy How are you worshipping your enemy? How are you going to surrender to your enemy? How are you going to give in to your enemy? Allah says did I not take a covenant with you

That you do not worship Shaytan He is a clear enemy to you How are you going to take your enemy, your friend? He said this ayah Do not let Shaytan be a fitna to you The way he took your father Adam and Hawwa from Jannah Ibn Katheer says Allah is warning us, He is warning us سبحانه وتعالى, us the children of Adam from Iblis and his followers and his tribe ومبينًا لهم عداوته القديمة لأبي البشر آدم عليه السلام And Allah is clarifying to us in this verse The old animosity that was there that he had towards Adam عليه السلام Adam didn't do anything to him Even before Adam was, the soul was blown into him He was showing animosity and hate towards him And of course when he was told to prostrate, the arrogance and the pride came out And so he worked towards Ibn Katheer and he said He wanted to take Adam out of جنة الفرداء جنة, جنة that Adam was in, enjoying himself He wanted to take him out of that blessing And take him where my brothers and sisters To which place إلى دار التعب والعناء This land of tiredness and stress and pain and suffering This is where we've been brought SubhanAllah, I was thinking about this point very deeply If someone, their land is taken from them Or someone is the cause of them leaving their land What do you consider that person who tries to take your land from you? Tries to take your house? You consider that person an enemy Shaytan was the one that caused us to leave our land Jannah Not only that He was the cause for our Aura to show

Shaytan was the reason why Adam and Hawwa Their Aura started to show يعني they were in Jannah And so they ate from the tree And so what happened? Their Aura showed Their Aura showed And he was the one that was the cause for that My brothers and sisters, please listen to this When Adam ate from the tree When Adam a.s. ate from the tree and Hawwa What was the punishment? The punishment was their Aura was shown And their Aura was made visible How is it possible my brothers and sisters? How? Ask yourself this question And this goes to all the brothers and sisters Wallahi think about this How is it possible? How? That that punishment For Adam and Hawwa is a fashion today You to show your Aura You to dress the way that you are Making your body parts visible That was a punishment Our mother Hawwa And our father Adam When their Aura showed Allah told us what they did Allah says They started to rip off The leaves from Jannah So they can conceal their Aura They didn't want their Aura to show And here we have Our brothers and sisters Public That's what Shaytan wants Humiliate you He wants to degrade you He wants to make you like the animals And the cattle He couldn't He could not follow Allah's command And honour you and respect you Adam Allah respected him Allah respected human beings Raised them Allah honoured The children of Adam Allah honoured them How did he honour us? The first thing Allah honoured us by Is our father Our father Was One that The angels and Shaytan Were all commanded to prostrate to That is an honour my brothers and sisters All the angels were commanded They were instructed to prostrate to Adam فَسَجَدُوا They all prostrated إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ كَانَ مِنَ الْجِنِّ فَفَسَقَ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِ Except Iblis He rejected the statements of his Lord Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala And he chose not to follow through He was a Fasiq He transgressed Exceeded his limits Stubborn, hard headed, arrogant Allah then says أَفَتَتَّخِذُونَهُ That one who could not prostrate for you Whilst he was in Jannah Iblis was with the angels He had Jannah He had everything He could not bear himself His head down and prostrate to you Couldn't Couldn't give you that Allah says أَفَتَتَّخِذُونَهُ Are you going to take him وَذُرِّيَّتَهُ And his progeny أَوْلِيَ عَلَيْس مِنْ دُونِي Besides Allah وَهُمْ لَكُمْ عَدُو And he is your enemy Are you بِعْسَ لِلظَّالِمِينَ بَدَلًا Bad for the wrongdoers بِعْسَ لِلظَّالِمِينَ بَدَلًا Bad for the wrongdoers Wallahi you've exchanged Good for the worst of worst Ja'ani when you look at the Quran My brothers, it warns us of this enemy

The fitna The degrading The misguidance, the plotting, the planning That he has and he does for us all the time Allah SWT says In Surah An-Nisa In Surah Fatir Allah says In Surah An-Nisa Allah says Anyone who takes shaytan as an ally A close friend Okay Besides Allah You are clearly clearly lost You've lost a plot And what's gonna wait for you the day of judgment It's not gonna be pleasant My brothers and sisters His animosity has been consistent Since the day Adam He refused to prostrate And that he made a promise to Allah Where he said He looked at Allah and he said I'm gonna misguide them all Look at the arrogance Think about this my brothers and sisters He's in Jannah, he's got everything He can be with the angels, the best of creation He doesn't want to be with them Why does he not want to be with them? Because he doesn't want to prostrate to you He couldn't give you that So then what happens? He promised to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala He said I'm gonna misguide them all He only gave one exception One group of people he said Those are the untouchable There's one group of people that I Iblis would accept That I can't touch them

Who are they?

The sincere slaves of yours

Those who are sincere, who are genuine Who do it for your sake Those are the untouchable ones That's a statement From him And Him acknowledging Who he cannot touch In another verse Allah tells us subhanahu wa ta'ala Where he mentioned I'm gonna stand in front of them In that straight path The path to Jannah, the path to Allah I'm gonna block them from the front Front, the back The right, the left All directions I'm gonna come to them from it Oh I'm gonna take every opportunity I'm not gonna let anything go I'm gonna come from every direction In order to misguide them So my brothers and sisters An enemy that doesn't stop Who carries on He was taken out of Jannah He was the reason why we were taken out of Jannah We should really feel it We should feel Something Allah mentions in Surah Al-Isra That's an enemy man That is a true enemy

Look what he says He said this Meaning Adam Adam And his children You have honoured them over me Oh Allah just give me a life span Let me live for a very long time What am I going to do I want to live until the Day of Judgment I'm going to take all of these people To Hellfire I'm going to state some of the points That I've read Of how this enemy Is an enemy that There is no enemy worse than this enemy Number one He refused to prostrate to Adam As I mentioned A simple prostration A prostration That the angels did And the reason why Allah Instructed them all to prostrate to Adam Was Allah was honouring our father Allah was يعني Putting Adam on a high level The angels All of them they prostrated He on the other hand didn't Jealousy, envy A trait that you will always Remember that it's from English حَسَد حِقْد You can't See a person flourish in life You can't see someone Reach somewhere, you want to take it from them That's a satanic thing Allah mentions it in many places He wasn't from the prostrator What prevented you prostrating when I commanded you Allah says Also Allah says in Surah Isra The ayah that I read before Am I going to prostrate To a creation that you made out of You made them out of clay This idea of belittling somebody because of their colour or because of the part of the world that they're from or their nationality That's not the way Allah raises and honours people No Looking at the way that the person looks and where they're from Shaytan is the one that set that path Allah doesn't look at the person's colour the height, the width of the person the weight, the complexity He doesn't look at that The hadith mentions Allah does not look at your flesh and your body and your flesh and how big you are Allah looks at your hearts and your actions. You know when Allah weighs and scales with deeds. ... Umar r.a said a powerful statement.

He said Abu Bakr Sayyiduna. ... Abu Bakr is our Sayyid, our master. And he freed our master, Bilal.

That summarizes Islam for you. Abu Bakr is a Sayyid and he freed our other Sayyid, Bilal. Do you know my brothers and sisters, when Fatah al-Makkah happened, the conquest of Makkah, Wallahi this is the summary and the khurasa of what the Prophet achieved that day.

That's what he did. He said, Bilal, climb that Kaaba and do your adab. A black Abyssinian man, for the first time, he was in Makkah, on the ground.

Abu Jahl was putting a stone on his stomach, punishing him, putting him down, degrading him. For the first time he climbs a high place and he does the call to prayer. There is no action in Islam greater than the prayer.

Calls the people to it. The Prophet told us, ... The people who have the longest neck the day of judgment, the beautiful, the most handsome people the day of judgment, are the people who do adab. Symbol of what Islam is.

... The concept of I am better, I am the chosen people, I am this, I am that, is a satanic way of thinking. He is the one who said when he was commanded, He said, shall I prostrate? ... A person you've created from tin. In the ayah before, he said, I am even better.

How? ... You created me from fire. ... And you created this person from a tin. Just the same way we say you're from that country, you're from this country.

This is shaytan's ways or method of looking at things. We should get rid of that, brothers and sisters. Wallahi we need to get rid of that.

If we're Muslims, the deen should govern us. We should look at people based on, ... A pious, righteous, noble person to us is the one who has good deeds. Not where you're from, not what tribe you're from, ... Wallahi when we do that, ... Honor, victory, all of that will be ours.

Iblis refused, my brothers and sisters, refused. Now, a lot of people don't think about this deeply, but the refusal of that day is the worst type of refusal. Any individual can do.

And you know what it is? Speaking to Allah and saying, no. You're saying to Allah, no. Think about that, brothers.

He sees everything. He sees the Jannah. He saw the Malaika.

He saw all of Allah's creation. Everything Allah created. He's talking, a direct dialogue with Allah SWT.

And he's saying, I'm not going to go straight. And he's stubborn to it till today. ... Refused.

Didn't change even a slight second. That's the day he showed his animosity. Abdul Rahman Nasir Saudi, he said, ... This is when the animosity started.

In another verse, Allah tells us, He says, ... What is it that's preventing you to prostrate? ... Surah Al-Hijr. I am not one to. That's not me.

I don't do that. I am going to prostrate to a creation that you created from what? ... That's not me. And since that hate, that animosity that started in him, he started to plan.

The second evidence to show that he's an enemy of us is that straight after that, refusal to prostrate, he worked towards taking Adam AS from Jannah. And yes, he succeeded. I want you to think on these things that I know you all know, but this is different.

We want to think about it. We want to ponder. We want to contemplate.

We want to deep what's taking place here in front of us. As soon as he refused to prostrate, he's now working towards pushing Adam out of Jannah and not making him from the people of Jannah. He's now getting to work.

This is his experience now. It starts from this day, from that moment. ... Misguiding Adam AS and taking him out of Jannah was the first project, the first program that any individual ever did.

This was it. We all know governments and countries, they have project this, project that, they do, they do, they do. It's different.

The big secret services, these agencies, they all have these Interpol, MI6, CS, they all have projects when they go to countries, this is the project they're going to fight this war, this particular war. Name it. Iblis, the first project, he started it.

Which is what? ... Misguide Adam and take him out of Jannah. I don't want him to be here. He has to leave this area, this place.

He can't be here. So how am I going to make that happen? My brothers and sisters, Adam is in Jannah and Jannah has ... ... Eyes have never seen, ears have never heard the likes of it and has never come to the mind of any individual. What's in Jannah is beyond description.

Just one tree. Just one tree. Don't eat from that.

You can do what you want with it. He was able to, this is the enemy we're talking about here, he was able to convince Adam ... that the best tree in all of this place is just that one. The one you were told not to eat from.

And guess what he used? Let's look at what he did. Allah tells us, subhanahu wa ta'ala, in Surah Al-Baqarah, ... Adam, you and your wife, both live in Jannah. ... Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, he used the word ... ... Eat from whatever you want.

... Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, he said ... ... ... Whichever fruit you like, whatever vegetation you want, is all yours. Eat it. Actually, in Surah Al-Taha, Allah says ... ... ... Imagine that.

You're never going to be hungry here. You're never going to be naked here. You're never going to be thirsty here.

This place, enjoy yourself. It's all yours. Allah mentions, subhanahu wa ta'ala, all of these four points I just mentioned, Allah mentions in Surah Al-A'raf.

Allah says, subhanahu wa ta'ala, ... ... Adam, you and your wife live in Jannah together. ... Both of you, eat. ... Wherever you want, eat from it.

It's all yours. ... And both of you, do not eat from this tree. If you do, you're going to be from the ... ... ... That's what you're going to be from them.

That's what Allah said to them. Clear instruction. Clear command.

Iblis came. ... ... Shaytan has started to whisper. Talking to Adam.

... Adam. Whisper to both of them. Why? He wants to bring to their attention, something Allah prohibited from them.

He whispered. ... ... He said, Allah did not prevent you from eating from this tree. There's a reason why Allah prohibited you from it.

Why? ... So that you can both be kings. A king and a queen. ... Or you can be from those who remain forever.

... Is that where he stopped? No. ... He swore by Allah. ... I am sincere advisor to both of you.

You and your wife, I'm a sincere advisor. ... I intend the best for you guys. I'm looking out for you guys.

I know what is best for you guys. ... Not everybody who claims he's a sincere advisor to you, is actually a sincere advisor to you. ... He said, the third, my brothers and sisters, evidence that this is an enemy, is that Iblis.

... May Allah's curse be upon him. ... Is that, he studied by Adam. He actually sat and studied us from that day till now, he's been studying us and learning us.

He knows everything he needs to know. ... Everything he needs to know, he realized, yeah, I know it. ... Because look, how did he know that we as human beings love to live forever? ... How did he know that we love kingdom, leadership and power? ... How did he know that? ... He studied us.

... Ibn Al-Jawzi said, ... The cursed one, Iblis. ... When he realized that they both want to stay in Jannah forever. ... And he also knew, ... That if they both eat from the tree, ... When he knew that if they ate from the tree, ... That their Aura will show, ... And that they will be taken out of Jannah.

... He said, ... What he said to them? He called the tree that was, The tree of destruction, The tree of wrath. ... That's what he called it, my brothers and sisters. He called it, ... He said, ... Adam, Shall I not show you the tree of eternity? Allahu Akbar.

... ... And a kingdom that will not perish. Naming, Haram, A good name, Is from Shaytan. That's what he does.

He knows, That what, Human beings, Do is, They look at the names, And the way that the person says things, Rather than what it really is. If you look at what's taking place right now, In Palestine, In the Muslim world, If you look at every time, The Muslims are what? A name is given to them. Extremists, Misguided, Fundamentalists, All of these, Is, Statements, And terms used, For people who are saying what? Allah is the only one that should be worshipped alone, Subhanahu wa ta'ala.

Allah's law and legislation, Should be the one governing this world. Not you, Not me. The law of Allah is the one that should judge, And govern us all.

I mean, The point I'm saying to you is, Naming, The, Opponent, Or naming things, A name that's either, To push other people away from it, Or to bring the people close. I mean, It's a shaytan's, Path. Something evil, you give it a good name.

Something good, you give it a bad name. I mean, Prophets of Allah, Who were sincere advisors, Were called, Majnoon. Were called, Sahir.

Achieve. Cave. How is this person a magician? He came to save you from hellfire.

But he's a magician. So, Name calling, That's what's, Look at, Haram. The people, The way they give it a different name.

They call, Riba, Interest. Interest? Riba is interest, And Allah is saying, How can something be interest, When Allah is in war with it? صح Some people, They call drugs, They call it food. Actually, Food.

Why? Because, Nobody comes to you and says, I'm selling you drugs. But if you say, I'm selling you food, It's like, It feels better. Mentions, That when the person wants to go astray, And doesn't want to go according to the Deen of Allah SWT, A lot of the time, You find that they change their name.

If their name was Abdullah, for example, Or their name was Fatima, Or Muhammad, And they want to go on the streets, And they want to do bad things, They change their name. Muhammad to Mo, Aisha to Ash, How do you change those names? Why do you do that? So, You can do the bad. And in names, My brothers and sisters, It's very important.

And it's something we should look into. The name, And the effects it can have on people. Words, My brothers and sisters, Are very, very serious.

Words are very serious. It has a very powerful impact. And it can make somebody see things in a different way.

So, my brothers and sisters, This Adoo, This enemy, We should take him as an enemy. Number four, The fourth evidence that he's an enemy, Is that he swore by Allah, That he's going to misguide us. And that he's not going to stop that.

Allah tells us, In Surah An-Nisa, Allah says, Allah says, That's the promise he made. What did he say? I'm going to misguide them. And I'm also going to place inside their hearts, False promises.

And I'm going to command them. And guess what he's going to make them do, My brothers and sisters? From the things that he's going to command people to do, Is to change the way Allah created them. Subhanahu wa ta'ala.

Inna lillahi'l-alameen. Inna lillahi'l-alameen. Ya'ani fala yughayyirunna khalqa Allah.

They're going to change the way Allah created them, Subhanahu wa ta'ala. That's a promise he made. That the children of Adam, Will change the way Allah created them.

You'll find a man, Wanting to be a woman, And a woman, Wanting to be a man. Like that. I'm going to change them.

And that's exactly what he's working towards. He's planning and he's plotting. Allah has told us, And we're still falling for it.

We're falling for it, every single time. So my brothers and sisters, I've spoken a lot and this is just a small, small, small, small amount of what it is that you need to know about Sharifan. Next one insha'Allah in our next session, I want to talk about another external enemy that is preventing us from seeing the truth for what it is.

Anything I've said that was wrong or incorrect is from me as Shaytan and Allah and His Messenger are both free from it.
